This policy explains what RankROI, a publication by Webteqno, collects and how it is used. We recommend it be reviewed by legal counsel for your jurisdiction before launch.
What we collect
- Contact & audit requests: the name, email, website, and details you submit through our forms — used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Newsletter: your email address and the date/version of consent, stored when you subscribe.
- Free resource delivery: your email address, the requested resource, request time, delivery status, download count, and a one-way hash of the submitting network address. Resource requests do not subscribe you to the newsletter.
- Comments: the name, email address, comment, submission time, and a one-way hash of the submitting network address. Email addresses are used for moderation and are never published.
- Analytics: aggregate usage data via Google Analytics (GA4).
Legal basis & consent
We process contact-form data to respond to your request (legitimate interest / pre-contract). We process a resource-request email address only to deliver the requested download and protect the delivery system from abuse. Newsletter emails are sent only after you separately confirm a subscription (double opt-in consent). The current consent version is 2026-07-11.
Data processors
Your data may be handled by the service providers we use to operate the site — currently our hosting provider, Google (Analytics). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it except as needed to provide these services or to comply with law.
Retention
Contact and lead records are retained for up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted. Free-resource delivery records may be retained for up to 90 days for delivery support, security, and aggregate performance reporting. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain a suppression record only to honor your opt-out.
Cookies
The public site sets no tracking cookies by default. With analytics enabled, Google may set cookies per its own policy. An essential session cookie is used only in the admin area.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data, and you can unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in any newsletter or by emailing hello@webteqno.com.
